Some wedding designs transport you somewhere else entirely.
For this October celebration at The Historic Cavalier Hotel, Amber Justine Events transformed the reception tent into what felt like an elegant garden conservatory. Layers of soft sage draping, custom wallpaper details, abundant florals, and thoughtfully selected furnishings created a space that felt equal parts refined, romantic, and immersive.
Every design element worked together to blur the line between indoors and out, surrounding guests with texture, color, and warmth from the moment they arrived.
A Bar Designed to Stand Out
One of the standout features of the reception space was the fully customized bar installation.
Our Customizable Shadowbox Bar was painted our in-house Artichoke Green and paired with custom wallpaper panels featuring a botanical-inspired pattern that echoed the floral design throughout the tent. Behind the bar, a 16′ Insert Arch Display Wall with Shelves created a dramatic backdrop, while a pair of Rattan Sconces added warmth and dimension.
Rather than functioning as a simple service station, the bar became a true design moment and one of the focal points of the entire reception.
Layering Texture Throughout the Space
What made this design so successful was its commitment to layering.
Gather Floral filled the tent with lush arrangements in soft blush, cream, peach, and green tones, while patterned linens, woven textures, warm wood finishes, and natural materials created visual interest throughout every corner of the reception.
Our Classic Carved Leg Dining Tables added warmth, while the Light Wood Heritage Console Table helped anchor key display areas. Throughout the space, Willamette Chairs complemented the garden-inspired palette while maintaining an elevated, timeless feel.
Every piece felt intentional without competing for attention.
Creating Inviting Lounge Moments
The lounge areas offered guests a place to gather, relax, and enjoy the celebration between dances.
The Caned Daybed, Camilla Sofa, Camilla Chairs, Square Back Caned Armchairs, and Seagrass Coffee Tables created inviting conversation spaces that blended seamlessly into the overall design. Natural materials and curved silhouettes softened the tent’s structure and reinforced the conservatory-inspired atmosphere.
These lounge moments didn’t simply fill space. They became part of the guest experience.
A Reception Designed for Celebration
As evening fell and the tent began to glow with layered lighting, hanging floral installations, and candlelight, the space transformed once again.
The Customizable Stage Facade carried the botanical wallpaper motif onto the band stage, helping create visual continuity throughout the reception. Combined with the dramatic ceiling draping and floral installations overhead, the result was a reception environment that felt immersive from every angle.
It’s the kind of design that reminds us how impactful customization can be. When furniture, décor, florals, and architecture are all working toward the same vision, the result is something guests remember.
Planning a wedding with a highly customized design vision? We’d love to help bring your ideas to life.
