When Emily King from Just a Little Ditty designs a wedding, you know there will be a sense of intention behind every layer. This celebration at Farmington Country Club leaned into a beautifully tailored structure with organic, garden-inspired elements in a way that felt both elevated and inviting.
From the moment guests arrived, the design told a cohesive story. Soft greens, warm neutrals, and floral-forward moments carried throughout the space, creating an environment that felt immersive without ever feeling overdone.
Seating That Feels Effortless
Our Willamette Chairs paired beautifully with patterned linens and neutral tables, bringing in a refined silhouette that didn’t compete with the lush floral moments. The look felt cohesive and not overly matched, which is exactly what makes it work.
Large-scale centerpieces added height and movement, while the warm wood flooring and soft lighting kept everything grounded and inviting.
A Bar Moment That Steals the Show
If there was a standout moment (and there were many), the bar deserves its own spotlight.
The Full Round Estate Bar, painted in a rich green, became an instant focal point. It echoed the garden palette while adding depth and contrast to the room- proof that a single color shift can completely transform a space.
Paired with our Double White Estate Bar with Estate Columns, the overall bar design felt layered and intentional. The Inset Arch Display Wall with Shelves was styled with glassware and florals, adding both dimension and utility. It acted as a subtle backdrop moment, with clean lines meeting bold color in a way that felt fresh and refined.
Nearby, Cane Back Barstools and White Wilhelm Cocktail Tables created natural gathering points for guests- functional, while still fully integrated into the design.
A Dancefloor That Set the Tone
The dancefloor space was anchored by a lush, overhead floral installation of greens, blooms, and ribbon cascading down to frame it in a way that felt almost architectural. It drew the eye upward while still grounding the space.
Our Customizable Stage Facades created a clean, tailored foundation for the band, allowing the florals and draping to take center stage without distraction.
And then (arguably one of the most memorable details) the custom dance floor crest. Framed with delicate florals and placed directly in front of the stage, it turned the entire space into a focal point, seamlessly transitioning from dinner to celebration.
Where Everything Comes Together
What makes a wedding like this stand out isn’t just the statement pieces. It’s how seamlessly everything works together.
The florals, the custom elements, the rentals, the layout… it all moves as one cohesive experience. Guests don’t just see the design. They feel it as they move through the space.
That’s the goal every time.
