Fall means cooler weather, all of the pumpkin spice lattes and of course stunning seasonal weddings! James and Margot’s big day was recently featured on Style Me Pretty and is one of our favorite recent Fall weddings! Held on the grounds of Oatlands Historic House and Gardens, this celebration was a perfect mix of the bride and groom’s style. While Margot is from New England and James is from California they both admit to falling in love with the Virginia countryside so the wedding location was an easy choice! Mixing his preppy style with her Scottish background, we absolutely love the final design of their day orchestrated by the talented gals at Ashlee Virginia Events . And bonus, Margot’s grandmother was the officiant who got to marry these two lovebirds! Too cute. We dig this description by Ashlee Virginia Events to Style Me Pretty on how they chose some specific P&J pretties to represent and surprise the groom! “James is preppy and loves the outdoors so we incorporated some items within the design that he would be surprised about, for example the taxidermy ducks, the bird stamps, and the cigar/whisky bar.”
