One of our favorite things about working here is that every event brings something entirely new. While the venue itself remains iconic, thoughtful rentals and custom details allow each celebration to feel completely unique.
That’s exactly why we’ve loved returning to the Country Club of Virginia time and time again.
A Venue That Adapts to Every Vision
One of the best things about the Country Club of Virginia is its versatility. Across multiple events, we’ve seen the venue transformed with everything from soft garden-inspired palettes to bold, colorful designs, proving that classic architecture doesn’t have to mean traditional décor.
Custom rentals play a huge role in making that possible.
For one celebration, our White Estate Bar featured custom pink-and-white inserts complete with the couple’s monogram, creating an unforgettable welcome moment. Another event featured our Double White Estate Bar with Estate Columns, customized with fresh green inserts and coordinating monograms that blended seamlessly into the reception design. We also loved seeing our White Estate Full Round Bar adorned in custom wallpaper, becoming a true centerpiece instead of simply a place to grab a drink.
These kinds of personalized details are what turn beautiful spaces into memorable experiences.
Color That Complements the Venue
Although the Country Club of Virginia is known for its classic white architecture, it’s also an incredible canvas for color.
Throughout these events, custom-painted rentals helped bring each designer’s vision to life without competing with the venue itself. Navy Vista Stage Facades filled with florals framed entertainment spaces beautifully, while seafoam green Freestanding 8′ Walls with Trim added architectural interest to lounge areas and displays.
Elsewhere, lime green Freestanding Customizable Lattice Walls, floral-painted Customizable Stage Facades, and show-stopping White Shadowbox Bars proved just how transformative a little customization can be. Rather than feeling temporary, every piece looked like it had been designed specifically for the space.
Creating Beautiful Moments Beyond the Reception
Some of our favorite installations weren’t the largest pieces in the room. They were the ones that encouraged guests to pause, explore, and interact.
Our 8′ Inset Arch Display Wall with Shelves became a stunning display filled with personal details, while a Freestanding Customizable 8′ Wall created a beautiful floral focal point for guests throughout the celebration.
Even smaller accents, like the 60″ Customizable Pedestal, helped elevate the design and add dimension throughout the venue.
These layered design moments help tell a couple’s story long before the dance floor opens.
Comfortable, Intentional Gathering Spaces
This venue offers so many opportunities to create inviting spaces where guests naturally want to gather.
Across several events, our Camilla Sofa, Taupe Velvet Quarter Round Banquette, and White Estate Banquette with Custom Wrapped Cushions helped create comfortable lounge areas that felt just as thoughtfully designed as the reception itself. Paired with our Sage Green Bar Height Trestle Table, these pieces brought warmth, texture, and functionality to both indoor and outdoor spaces.
Meanwhile, our Willamette Chairs blended effortlessly into the venue’s timeless aesthetic, offering classic seating that complemented virtually any design style.
