It started with a simple thought: couples wanted the warmth of a wood tabletop without giving up the style of a linen. Our custom wood table topper solves that directly. It sits over a linen-clad table and gives you a crisp wood surface on top- no compromise required.
What It Is
The piece measures 98″ L x 32″ W x 2¾” H, built to sit cleanly over an 8′ table. It’s made in-house, in a light wood finish that reads warm without leaning rustic, which is why it moves easily between a traditional ballroom and an airy tented reception. We keep six in the collection, so it scales from a single head table to a full room of them. (Oh and we also have customizable ones that you can paint to match your design perfectly!)
The Classic Look: One Topper, One Table
Used on its own, the topper is the simplest way to bring wood into a linen-forward design. Dress the table underneath in whatever linen carries your palette, then let the topper anchor the surface. Chargers, florals, and place settings sit directly on wood instead of fabric, which reads more tailored in photos and holds up better through a full dinner service.
The Family-Style Option
Multiply it, and the same piece becomes something else entirely. Set two toppers side-by-side and you’ve built a family-style table. We love pairing that with our Linden Bench, its banquette-style profile softening the line of the table and adding a sense of coziness. It’s the same logic our couples already love about banquette wedding seating: fewer chair backs breaking up the sightline, more room for the table itself to carry the design.
Styling It
The topper’s light finish is intentionally neutral, so it plays well with a wide range of chairs. We often pair it with James Chairs for something European and romantic, or Willamette Chairs alongside the Linden Bench for a mixed-seating moment that still feels cohesive.
