#communityovercompetition - it's a real thing!
What can we say – we’re habitual over-sharers! We love meeting new people and learning all about them, and it’s just not something we could ever push to the side when it comes to Paisley & Jade. On top of that, we truly believe that by helping other companies, we raise the profile of the industry overall, benefitting ALL of us in the end.
When we launched, we searched high and low for an education resource that could could help us build the best business possible. We found lots of great small business tools and education, but nothing really for the chair-hoarding, storage-unit-filling, vintage-find-loving people we were! Without that resource, we have been forced to learn from our own mistakes. We’re so proud of how far we’ve come, but at the same time realize that we could have saved a lot of time, money and energy if someone had politely given us some pointers!
The education portion of Paisley & Jade launched in mid-2015, after we realized that there was a need for specialized education and information in our field. Since then, we have worked with companies from across the country through our coaching program, spoken at conferences for creatives, blogged about common #vintagerentallife questions, and have launched our online shop full of digital resources!
The P&J coaching sessions were one of the best investments we have made in our business, hands down! With a wave of specialty rentals joining the industry, Morgan shows you how to navigate the waters and make large strides for your business. We had a strong business before but there were giant gaps we weren’t sure how to fill- P&J coaching sessions showed us how. We came into this not knowing what to expect and left with a sense of encouragement, clarity and determination. These sessions were a catalyst for the new growth in our business. Investing in your future takes time, energy and, let’s be honest, money. This investment is worth every penny. So thankful for the team at P&J who have braved this journey & are open to share their wins and losses in order to lift up this amazing rental community.
