Policies

We know that rules & regulations aren’t anyone's favorite part of the process, but if we get them over with now, we can get on to the fun stuff!

Damages & Replacement Costs

We know that vintage items sometimes get a little too much love, so a mandatory non-refundable 10% damage waiver is added to every delivery order (15% to will-call orders). This covers normal wear & tear on our collection, but does not cover gross negligence – such as damage caused by children with sharpies (eeeek!) or pieces not protected from inclement weather. For items that are returned damaged (or not returned at all), a damage or replacement fee will be charged.

Delivery & Pick Up

We think of delivery as when a box is dropped at your doorstep, or when the pizza guy meets you at the front door and leaves you to set the table and do all the legwork.  What we do here is more than delivery – it’s P&J Signature Installation & Retrieval.  It’s actually so awesome, we have a whole section on our website dedicated to it, and you can check it out here.  Need the cliffs notes version?  Yes – we will bring your items to you and retrieve them when you’re done – but it actually involves much more than that!

Hold information

Once your proposal is put together, the items you have selected are “held” for you for 10 days and are unavailable for others to rent. After 10 days, if we do not receive an initial 50% payment to confirm the order, the proposal expires, and the items are released back into our inventory for others to reserve. A “Proposal Expiration Date” is listed at the bottom of the pricing page on every proposal for your reference.

Initial Payment Amount

Paisley & Jade requires a 50% non-refundable payment to confirm your order and consider your event booked. The payment amount required is listed at the bottom of your proposal. This can be paid over the phone with a check or credit card or by using our secure online payment system. While putting an initial payment down removes the items you have chosen from our available inventory, it doesn’t necessarily lock you in to using them. We are more than happy to make changes as your event gets closer.
